Thunderstorms tonight, more rain this weekend
AFTERNOON/TONIGHT: This afternoon we will see partly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Showers and thunderstorms will continue off and on in Koochiching and Itasca counties. But later on tonight, mostly after 9pm, we will see the showers and thunderstorms push east through the region. There is a low chance of any severe weather tonight, but the best chance will be in Koochiching and Itasca counties. The rain should arrive in the Ports around or just after midnight. Lows will be in the 60′s and 70′s.

SATURDAY: Saturday we will start out with mostly cloudy skies and a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mid-day will be the best chance of rain and some isolated thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid-70′s with northwest winds 5-10mph.

SUNDAY: Sunday we will have mostly cloudy skies. The best chance of rain will be in Northern Wisconsin and the U.P.. The rest of us to the north should remain dry and cloudy. Highs will only manage 60′s around Lake Superior and some 70′s inland. There is a potential for heavy rain for those who see it, a few inches is not out of the question.

MONDAY: Monday we will have sunny skies! High pressure returns and will remain in place almost all week! Highs will be in the lower 70′s with southerly winds.
