3 hurt in Duluth hit-and-run, woman arrested

DULUTH, MN -- Duluth police arrested a woman after three people were hurt in an overnight hit-and-run.

Police say it happened around 12:15 a.m. Saturday near 5th Ave E. and 4th Street in the Central Hillside neighborhood.

When officers arrived, they found a 53-year-old man with a broken leg, a 41-year-old man with minor injuries, and a 53-year-old man with unknown injuries.

Witnesses gave officers a description of the vehicle involved.

They later located the vehicle and the 29-year-old woman they believe was driving it on the 3000 block of W. Tischer Road in Duluth.

She was arrested and is expected to be charged with several felonies.

Police did not immediately say what led up to the crash or what caused it.

It’s also unclear if alcohol was involved.
