DULUTH, MN -- Two suspects are in custody following an investigation into a shooting in Downtown Duluth.
Duluth Police Officers responded to a call from a local hospital around 2:15 a.m. Thursday morning for a 33-year-old man who had apparently suffered a gunshot wound.
The man was treated and released.
After investigating the situation, police arrested a 22-year-old man during a traffic stop, presumably in relation to the shooting.
That suspect is being held with pending charges of Second Degree Assault and Reckless discharge of a firearm.
Police say the victim and suspect knew each other.
During the investigation, DPD Officers executed four search warrants, arresting a second person pending charges of Possession of Ammunition by a Prohibited Person.
