Rescheduled 4th events: Cloquet, Silver Bay, Madeline Island

Due to weather, area 4th of July festivities were postponed. Here’s what’s happening tonight, July 5.

Cloquet: The city will hold a “standing parade” on Ave. B by Veterans Park from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Meaning, the floats line up and the spectators walk by.

• Food vendors will open up at 4 p.m.
• The parade runs from 5 pm to 7:30 pm.
• “The Peanuts Movie” starts at 8:30 pm
• The fireworks begin at 10:10 pm.

Madeline Island: The program on the green is CANCELLED.

Fireworks rescheduled for July 5th.

The Madeline Island Ferry Line will be running special trips:

• Bayfield to Island: 9pm & 10pm
• To Bayfield: 9:30pm & 10:30pm (last trip)

Silver Bay: Fireworks rescheduled for Tuesday, July 5th at dusk.
