Duluth man arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography
DULUTH, MN-- A Duluth man was arrested Friday after police found and seized multiple devices containing child pornography.
According to a report, police conducted a search warrant on the 800 North block of 57th Ave West after receiving a “Cybertip” from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Authorities seized more than 20 electronic devices.
Police said some of those devices contained a large number of images and videos of suspected child sexual abuse material.
Investigators with the Lake Superior Forensic Technology and Internet Crimes Against Children (LSFT &ICAC) Task Force, the Duluth Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations worked together on the case.
The 50-year-old suspect is currently at the St. Louis County Jail on pending charges of eight counts of Pornographic Work Involving Minors (under the age of 13).
