Chances for thunderstorms return starting today
TODAY: The bulk of the day will be mostly clear to partly cloudy with highs reaching the 80s to near 90 degrees. A few scattered t-storms will be possible later this afternoon into the overnight hours. A stray severe storm will be possible, especially over MN, with large hail and strong winds being the main threats.

FRIDAY: Highs will reach the 70s and 80s near Lake Superior with 80s away from the lake. A stray t-storm will be possible during the early morning hours, but the bulk of the day will be partly cloudy. More t-storms will be possible during the afternoon and overnight hours. A couple severe storms will be possible, mainly in the western half of the region. The main threats will be large hail and strong winds.

SATURDAY: Rain with a few rumbles of thunder will be likely during the morning and early afternoon, becoming scattered into the rest of the day. Highs reach the 70s with mostly cloudy skies. A slight chance for showers remains overnight.
