Former Proctor teacher sentenced to 4 years for sexual assault
PROCTOR, MN -- A former Proctor teacher and coach will spend four years in prison for sexually assaulting a student.
Todd Clark, 52, was originally charged in August.
The victim says Clark touched her inappropriately several years ago when she was 15.
She said the abuse happened multiple times a week over the course of a year.
Court records show Clark texted the victim, trying to convince her not to come forward.
Along with prison time, Clark has to register as a sex offender and spend 10 years on probation after his release.
Clark formerly taught middle school in Proctor and coached the district’s boy’s basketball team.
