Detour ahead! Portion of Midway Road to close for railroad crossing work

HERMANTOWN, MN-- A detour will be put in place for a few days while a railroad crossing is getting work done.
CN Railroad crews will be conducting maintenance work at the railroad crossing on Midway Road by Adolph, located 0.2 miles south of U.S. Highway 2.
This crossing will be closed from June 27 to July 1.
Detour signs will direct traffic to use the St. Louis River Road and U.S. Highway 2 instead.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and use caution any time they are traveling in or near work zones.
