Stretch of Duluth’s Railroad Street closed as crews respond to fire

DULUTH, MN -- A stretch of Railroad Street is closed Monday morning as crews respond to a fire in the area.

As of 8:40 a.m., it appears smoke is coming from a box car across the street from the Pier B hotel.

Police have blocked traffic in both directions.

Railroad Street is currently one of the main routes to access the Blatnik Bridge amid the Twin Ports Interchange Construction.

Drivers will want to consider another route.
