Severe weather threat tonight and tomorrow
TONIGHT: We are tracking the chance of stronger to severe thunderstorms that will move into the region later tonight. A powerful line of thunderstorms will move in after 9pm and bring a threat of damaging winds, large hail, and possibly an isolated tornado. Flash flooding is also a concern with heavy downpours of rain. The severe threat should subside after 2am.
THURSDAY: We will see a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms early in the morning, then mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of isolated thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid to lower 60′s in the Ports. But 70′s and 80′s inland. Winds will be out of the southeast 10-15mph. There could be some severe storms in the evening yet again. Damaging winds, large hail and maybe a tornado. This could be a dangerous situation with the storms being at night. Stay weather aware!
FRIDAY: High pressure will return to bring mostly sunny skies! Temperatures will be able to climb into the mid to upper 70′s with southwest winds 10-15mph.
SATURDAY: We will see partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies on Saturday. Highs will be in the upper 60′s and lower 70′s with a slight chance of scattered showers in the afternoon. Winds will be WSW 5-10mph.
