Sunshine returns today, more severe storms possible mid-week
TODAY: A few lingering clouds and even a stray shower will be possible this morning with plenty of sunshine by the afternoon. Highs reach the upper 60s to upper 70s. A couple isolated showers and t-storms will be possible over NW WI during the afternoon. Mostly clear skies continue into the overnight hours with lows in the 30s and 40s.
WEDNESDAY: The bulk of the day will be mostly clear to partly cloudy. Highs reach the 60s and 70s away from Lake Superior with 50s and 60s near the lake. A warm front will pass through the region late Wednesday into the first part of Thursday bringing scattered t-storms overnight. A couple may be strong to severe with the main threats being large hail and strong winds.
THURSDAY: Scattered showers and t-storms will be possible with sunshine mixed with clouds. Highs reach the 70s to around 80 degrees. A cold front brings more thunderstorms late Thursday into early Friday. There’s a better chance for severe weather with this wave with all modes of severe weather on the table. Keep an eye on the forecast over the next couple of days as we track these storms.
