Update: Superior Woman found dead near railroad tracks

SUPERIOR, WI. (KBJR) - According to law enforcement officials, early Saturday afternoon the Superior Police responded to the report of a deceased woman located by employees on railroad tracks on a section of private property.

Police found the body of Hayleigh Grace Turner.

The Superior Police Department said Turner was struck by a train while attempting to negotiate the tracks.

This incident is currently under investigation and no further information is available at this time.

According to police, foul play is not suspected.

A GoFundMe has been created for Turner to help with funeral and burial costs.

The donation organizer said, “this is a devastation to her family and they need time to grieve.”
