Lingering snow showers and windy conditions
AFTERNOON/TONIGHT: This afternoon we will continue to see scattered snow showers, especially around Lake Superior. Winds will continue out of the NNW tonight between 10-20mph gusting to 30mph. The Snow-Belt region along the South Shore will see an additional 4-8″ overnight with the rest of the region seeing Trace to a couple of inches at the most. Lows will dip below freezing, into the teens and 20′s.

FRIDAY: We will continue to see mostly cloudy skies on Friday, although there will be some clearing in the late afternoon from west to east. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30′s with winds out of the NNW 10-20mph. Lake effect snow will continue for the South Shore.

SATURDAY: High pressure will finally return on Saturday. We will see mostly sunny skies and highs back into the upper 40′s. Winds will be out of the northwest to start but becoming southerly later in the day.

SUNDAY: Sunday we will see mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of some scattered rain showers. Highs will be in the upper 40′s and lower 50′s with ESE winds 5-15mph. Accumulations will be fairly minimal.
