Lane closures begin Monday on Blatnik Bridge

DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - Starting Monday, driving over the Blatnik Bridge may require some extra time.

The bridge will have temporary lane closures from April 4th through the 7th.

Drivers should expect single lanes to be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Officials with MnDOT said they’re temporarily closing the lanes so staff can mark locations for future repairs with paint.

They said those repairs are set to be tackled during a maintenance project this summer.
