Some scattered wintry mix will be possible before 8pm, but more likely after 8PM. The precip. will continue through about 2am, then diminish from west to east. Accumulations will be between a trace to an inch. Lows will be in the upper 20′s and lower 30′s.

WEDNESDAY: Wednesday we will continue to see rain and snow across much of the region. Models still differ quite a bit on totals for most of the region. But right now it looks like most of the area will see between 1-5″ through Wednesday night. The North Shore, especially Cook County, could see 6-12″ of snow due to some lake enhancement. Hopefully, models come into better agreement on totals soon.
