Rain, freezing rain, and snow are expected

AFTERNOON/TONIGHT: This afternoon we will continue to see cloudy skies and gusty winds. Tonight we will see our next system move in from the south. After 11pm we will see the chance for rain and freezing rain for most of the region. However, there will be some snow in Central Minnesota. Lows will be right around freezing with winds out of the ESE 10-20mph.

TUESDAY: Tuesday we will see a chance of rain and freezing rain in the morning, then a chance of snow in the afternoon and evening hours. We could be dealing with snow covering icy roads and surfaces, creating very hazardous driving conditions. Winds will be out of the east 10-15mph gusting to 25mph. The bulk of the snow accumulation will be Tuesday night for the Ports and North Shore.

WEDNESDAY: Wednesday we will have a chance of some lingering light snow showers. Wisconsin and the U.P. will likely see the bulk of the accumulation, adding up to 3-6″ for NE Wisconsin and the U.P.. Highs will be in the mid to lower 30′s with calmer winds out of the southeast.
