Duluth man airlifted after semi T-bones pickup; injuries unknown

CARLTON CO., MN-- A Duluth man has been airlifted to Duluth after his truck was T-boned by a semi.

Carlton County deputies responded to the intersection of Co. Rd. 61 and Co. Rd. 4 in Mahtowa after a Toyota truck pulled away from the stop sign and was struck in the passenger side by a semi.

The driver of the Toyota pickup is a 37-year-old man from Duluth who was airlifted to a Duluth hospital.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

Police do not think impairment was a factor.

A citation has been issued to the driver of the Toyota for failure to yield.
