Temperatures fall today, more warmth later!
TODAY: A cold front will bring falling temperatures throughout the day with temperatures in the afternoon sitting in the single digits above and below zero. High pressure causes clouds to decrease throughout the morning with mostly clear skies by the afternoon. In addition, areas east of Ashland along the South Shore could pick up 1-2″ of additional lake effect snow accumulation by this evening. Lows dip into the teens below zero, with a couple 20s below zero possible in northern MN.
FRIDAY: High pressure brings mostly clear to partly cloudy skies with highs in the single digits to teens above zero. Lows will be in the single digits above and below zero with increasing clouds.
SATURDAY: We’ll see mostly cloudy skies with highs reaching the teens to 20s above zero. The Arrowhead of MN has a slight chance for a few flurries as a system passes through Canada. Lows fall into the single digits above zero.
