Blomdahl nets OT winner as #1 Hermantown outlasts #2 Warroad

DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - In a battle of the top two ranked teams in Class A, the Hermantown boys hockey team emerged victorious against Warroad.
The top-ranked Hawks were lifted by senior assistant captain Gavin Blomdahl, who scored the game winner for the Hawks.
After a long back and forth between two high-powered teams, Blomdahl threw a puck on net as he entered the zone all alone before the end of his shift.
It trickled past the Warriors’ goaltender to lift the Hawks to a 2-1 win.
