No injuries in early morning Superior garage fire

SUPERIOR, W.I. (KBJR) - Superior fire crews spent the morning battling a garage fire.

It broke out at 8:20 a.m. on Saturday.

When crews arrived to 4 Bridgeview Drive a three-stall attached garage was fully engulfed in flames.

According to a press release, a large amount of fire was coming out of the overhead garage doors and smoke showing from the eves of the home.

Everyone was able to make it out safely.

Fire crews worked to prevent the fire from spreading into the home. They said significant water and foam was used to extinguish the fire and crews remained on scene until about 11 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The vehicles in the garage are a total loss and the garage suffered significant damage.

The home suffered light smoke damage.

Damage is estimated to be approximately $150,000.
