DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - As a storm with forecast winds of up to 50 miles per hour approaches, Bentleyville is preparing for what could be a tough couple days.

The Bayfront lights display is particularly vulnerable to strong winds, as it was decimated by a storm just last year.

A Duluth spokesperson Tuesday night told KBJR6 they’re in close conversation with the National Weather Service, and there are plans to talk with Bentleyville leaders Wednesday morning.

In a statement tonight, Nathan Bentley said he’s aware of the approaching system, and asks people to stay updated on possible changes and volunteer requests on Bentleyville’s website and Facebook page.
