DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - TONIGHT: After seeing snow showers through the morning hours, mainly in the Arrowhead and northern Wisconsin region, the Northland will see quiet weather this evening. Most areas will see mostly clear conditions while areas in the Arrowhead and UP region will see mostly cloudy skies. Duluth looks to be partly cloudy to mostly clear with temperatures falling to the lower 20s. Winds will continue from the northwest at a breezy rate gusting up to 20 miles per hour. Lake effect snow is still possible for the Ironwood region through Sunday morning. Accumulation looks to be no more than an inch of snow.

SUNDAY: Sunday looks to be a pleasant day for the majority of the Northland. Mostly sunny skies are expected for the majority of the area with clouds hanging around Cook and Lake County into the UP region. Lake effect snow should be done by mid-morning Sunday for the Ironwood region. Temperatures look to be seasonal and mild around the lower 30s. Unfortunately, another system looks to develop over Canada and track the same way as the previous system. Another warm front will approach the Northland by Sunday night which will increase more snow chances by Monday morning.

MONDAY: For the start of the new week, snow showers look to be possible Monday morning as people head off to work and school. Similar to the previous system, the heavier snow looks to be in the Iron Range and Arrowhead region. Accumulation is once again minimal for the region maxing out at 2 inches. The snow looks to be done by noon on Monday with mostly cloudy skies for the rest of the day with mid 30s for highs. Winds will continue to be from the northwest so lake effect snow will continue to be possible Monday night for the southern shore.
