DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - The UMD men’s hockey team earned a dominant 5-0 win over Colorado College on Friday night.

Ryan Fanti was brilliant once again, recording his second straight shutout. It’s the first time UMD has strung together consecutive shutouts since 2019 against Miami (OH).

Five different players scored for UMD, including Koby Bender, Noah Cates, Casey Gilling, Own Gallatin, and Blake Biondi.

They’re back at it again from game two against the Tigers on Saturday night at AMSOIL Arena.
