Police arrested two union managers Wednesday morning after a report of a fight at a bar with two Superior City Councilors.

According to police documents, the fight between the groups happened at Jimmy's Saloon, in Billings Park.

The two men were talking about unions and badgering patrons who work in non-union jobs according to police reports.

The councilors allegedly tried calming the men down and encouraged them to leave when the fight broke out.

One of the men, who hasn't been identified was arrested for causing $750 in damages to the bar,  battery, and disorderly conduct.

The man allegedly shoved Superior City Councilor, Craig Sutherland, through a railing causing it to break and punched Council President Keith Kern in the face.

The other man was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Douglas District Attorney, Mark Fruehauf released a statement saying both men have initial court dates next week and charges are expected by then.
