A new book is chronicling the 1918 fire of Carlton County.
It's called "Thomson Township's Night of Terror".
It was launched Wednesday at the Esko Historical Society.
The book talks about the impact the 1918 fire had on Thomson Township.
The fire killed 453 people, and is the greatest natural disaster in Minnesota history.
"I think with history, it carries you so that you can live better, and not make the mistakes of the past," Member of the Esko Historical Society, Julie Kesti, said.
The book is on sale at several Esko and Cloquet businesses.
