Duluth Fire Department officials say lightning is likely to blame for a small church fire in Duluth Thursday morning.
Crews responded to Christ Lutheran Church on Ensign Street in Duluth's Piedmont neighborhood just after 5:30 a.m.
When crews arrived, they found flames around a cross on the roof of the church, however flames did spread to the roof area.
Fire department officials report the small fire on the roof caused about $75,000 of water and smoke damage.
Officials say damage was kept to a minimum, and no one was injured.
