ST. PAUL, MN -

With about a week left of the 2018 legislative session, the Minnesota House has approved an $825 million dollar bonding bill for construction projects across the state.

More than two-thirds of the bonding is dedicated to bricks-and-mortar projects, such as roads and bridges, water infrastructure and statewide asset preservation.

Other projects getting money include school safety and mental health centers.

In Duluth, the bill would provide $7 million to the Superior Street steam upgrade project and $4 million to Glensheen Mansion.

The Senate is still working on its version of the bill.
