Lions, clowns, and snow, three things all present during the annual Duluth Circus.
The AAD Shrine Circus held at AMSOIL arena features family-friendly fun for all.
The Circus is a fundraiser for the local AAD Shrine organization. All funds raised from the Circus go back to the company to help fund the organization's day-to-day expenses.
The weekend-long event featured trapeze artists, trained wild animals, and dancing clowns.
Circus officials say they were surprised to see so many people turn out in today's weather.
Roger Kurrle with the AAD Shrine Circus says, "It's terrific, people are hardy in the Northland, they come out even when there is bad weather, it's good for us that they do that.."
The AAD circus wrapped up today and plans to return next year.
