Blizzard conditions forced Minneapolis St. Paul International to close three of four runways Saturday afternoon, according to the Metropolitan Airports Commission.
Dozens of flights had already been canceled or delayed due to the unseasonable spring storm at MSP.
Some air traffic destined for MSP was diverted to Duluth International Airport earlier in the day, according to a tweet by the airport.
A number of flights arriving from and departing to Minneapolis in Duluth were either delayed or cancelled Saturday.
