DULUTH, MN -

One celebration for St. Patricks day kicked off a few days early.

Local runners laced up their sneakers for the 7th annual "Pub Shuffle."

The event kicked off in Leif Erickson Park, and runners made their way down Superior St.

The first stop was Carmondy's Irish Pub, where the runners had 15 minutes to grab a quick drink. Then it was on to their next destination.

Runners of all skill levels were invited to participate.

"This is just a fun, social way to get into it and connect and collaborate and socialize with people throughout the night," executive director Clint Agar said.

Proceeds from the event go to benefit the Twin Ports Miracle League.
