Port Wing, Wis. native and Iowa junior forward Megan Gustafson has been named to the USA Today All-American second team, it was announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Gustafson, who was also named the Big Ten Player of the Year, is averaging 25.6 points and 12.7 rebounds this season. She leads the nation in several offensive categories, including points per game (25.6), field goal percentage (66.8), and double-doubles (27).
She's Iowa's first All-American since 2015 and the first Hawkeyes player ever to be honored by USA Today.
Gustafson is also a finalist for the 2018 Wooden Award, which will be given on March 28 to the nation's most outstanding women's basketball player.
