University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) junior Danielle Kohlwey has qualified for the NCAA Division II indoor track and field championships, it was announced on Monday morning.
Kohlwey will be making her second straight appearance at the national meet, competing in both the 60-meter hurdles and the 200-meter dash. She posted the third fastest hurdles time in the country this season, running 8.29 seconds at last month's Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) championships.
She qualified in the hurdles last season as well, narrowly missing the finals with a ninth place finish while running 8.56.
The preliminaries for the 60-meter hurdles (2:45 p.m.) and the 200-meter dash (5:35 p.m.) are both scheduled Friday, and the finals for both would be Saturday. The NCAA Division II indoor track and field championships are being held in Pittsburg, Kan.
