Dozens of people got the most out of the Superior Municipal Forest trails Sunday morning.
The first ever, Stride, Ride, Glide Tri allowed participants to run, bike, and ski through the wooded area.
The event included a 5k run on a flat snow-covered dirt road, a 10k bike on a very scenic snow-covered dirt road with a few hills thrown in, and a 10k ski on a mix of wide, flat and hilly trails.
The event is a resurrection of Pole, Pedal, Pant of years past.
All proceeds from the event go towards new, more efficient grooming equipment for the trails.
Race Coordinator, Eve Graves says, "the trails in Superior are the best trails in the Twin Ports, they got a lot of variety a lot of kilometers, the trails in Superior are groomed 7 days a week, it's the place around that grooms every single day you know your going to have good trails"
Racer in the event, Michael Koppy says, "I think it's a great way to help raise money for the Superior Parks here and so they could get some good equipment and glad to help"
Following the event, there were awards, door prizes, and pizza at the Thirsty Pagan.
