Judge to hear public comments Wednesday on MN Power's proposed plant
DULUTH, MN -
The public has another chance to weigh in Wednesday on Minnesota Power's proposed natural gas power plant.
Minnesota Power and Dairyland Power Cooperative have proposed constructing a $700 million natural gas power plant, which would be built in Superior sometime after 2020.
Minnesota Power would purchase half of the plant to the tune of $350 million.
Wednesday afternoon, an administrative law judge will hear public comments on the proposed project.
