Georgia republicans are threatening to withhold a hefty tax break for Delta, because it ended a travel discount for the NRA after the Florida school massacre.
Now other states are courting Delta, trying to convince the company to relocate.
Thanks to Minnesota Senate DFL Caucus Leader Tom Bakk of Cook, that now includes Minnesota.
Bakk issued a statement Tuesday, saying in part, "Delta, you can always come home. Georgia Republicans are threatening a Delta-supported tax exemption on jet fuel. In 2013, Minnesota passed jet fuel tax reforms that would benefit Delta."
Bakk added, "Minnesota Nice, in this case, extends to airlines with local roots."
