Girl Scouts replace cookies lost in fire for long time customer

DULUTH, MN -

Members of the Girl Scouts gave back to a long-time customer who lost his box of favorite Girl Scout cookies in a fire.

Girl Scout Volunteer and Parent Ali Anderson heard that Marty and Jeannie Larson had a house fire.

Marty Larson is an outstanding cookie customer purchasing two cases of Shortbread cookies every year.

It was decided that Girl Scouts would replace the Larson's cookies.

Monday,  two girls scouts, Ahnaleah Anderson and Leilani Gorkiewicz made a trip to Essentia Health to visit the Larson's and presented them with their cookies and more.

The Larson's were so thankful for the girl scouts kindness. It was a heartwarming moment for all.
