Mattson drops 62 points, leads Wrenshall boys past Duluth Marshall

DULUTH, MN -

Nick Mattson hit 17 three-pointers and scored 62 points on Monday night, leading the Wrenshall boys' basketball team to a 116-83 win over Duluth Marshall.

Mattson was 17-for-27 behind the arc for the Wrens, and his big night also put him past 1,000 points in his high school career.

Sam Lohn led the way for the Hilltoppers with 32 points in the losing effort, while Ben Landerr added 29.

Wrenshall has now won 16 of its past 17 games and is (20-2) overall, while Duluth Marshall falls to (5-19).
