The University of Wisconsin-Superior Theatre presented a production titled "Children of the Holocaust" Sunday afternoon.
This original script traces the events of the Holocaust as seen through the eyes of children. It was written by Kathy Laakso who also serves as director of the performance.
The performance, which features a cast of eight UW-Superior student actors and one community member, includes facts about the Holocaust based on research, oral histories, and documentation, but told through theatre to assist in forging a human connection.
Stage manager, Greta Weisel says, "It's a very complicated show, you wouldn't think that it's that complicated, but we have many different aspects to it, just lighting and sound and we have projections real images from the Holocaust that really helps it tie it all together and show you what it really about"
The performance took place in the Manion Theatre on the UW-Superior campus.
