Northlanders had a chance to curl for a good cause Saturday morning.
PAVSA hosted its first ever "Curling for a Cause" Bonspiel with the help of Fuse Duluth's Leadership Council.
The Duluth Curling Club was filled with teams helping to raise money for the program that helps to aids victims of sexual assault.
The goal of the day was to raise $500 for the cause.
An event organizer, Noah Hobbs says, "my favorite part about curling, it's a lot more technical and strategic than I ever believe it would be and I think just the excitement on it and it's a lot of fun."
Teams did not need to know how to curl as curling club members were there to assist in the efforts.
The event raised $4,000.
