4th Annual Fish Lake Golf on Ice event drew a lot of participants

Posted: Updated:

Even though we are a couple of months away from the links opening up, people still were able to get out and enjoy a couple rounds of golf Saturday.

It was the 4th Annual Fish Lake Golf on Ice event that drew people in from various areas. Participants played 18 holes on ice!

You were able to use a golf club but also hockey sticks or pretty much anything you'd like just as long as you swung it like a club.

A tennis ball was used rather than a golf ball.

It took place at Eagle's Nest Resort. Winners and teams were awarded trophies for 1st through 4th places.

"We actually picked it up from the old ownership, who actually let it fall by the wayside. We just restarted the event, It was something that the customers said, mentioned they were interested in, we gave it a shot, and it's been wildly successful."We actually picked it up from the old ownership, who actually let it fall to the wayside. We just restarted the event, It was something that the customers said, mentioned they were interested in, we gave it a shot, and it's been wildly successful," said Owner, Eagle's Nest Resort, Mike Fink.

80 golfers participated in today's event.
