One man is behind bars after an early morning four hour-long armed standoff in Grand Rapids.
Officers were sent to a mobile home on 14th Avenue Southwest shortly after midnight Friday for a welfare check.
Police say when they arrived, a woman and her teenage daughter were inside, along with a 47-year-old man who was reportedly visiting, but they wouldn't let officers in.
Authorities say they saw a man brandishing a gun through a window, and set up a perimeter around the home.
The daughter was eventually removed from the home.
Police weren't able to enter the home and arrest the man until 4 a.m. Friday.
He is being held at the Itasca County Jail.
Formal charges are pending.
