One person was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after rear ending a MnDOT truck on the Blatnik Bridge.
The State Patrol says a snow removal operation was blocking the right lane around 8:45 a.m. in the southbound lane near the Garfield Avenue exit.
A van driven by a 37-year-old Duluth man was unable to stop in the area, and rear ended one of the MnDOT trucks.
The driver of the van suffered non-life threatening injuries.
No one else was injured.
Roads were partially snow and ice covered at the time.
