The United States men's curling team had a crucial victory early Wednesday morning over Great Britain.
Their 10-4 victory earns Team Shuster a spot in the semi-final round, which means they will be the third seed and will play for a medal.
John Shuster, the skip, noted his team's struggles early in the tournament, but said his team digged deep.
"Once we got rolling it was easy for us to remember that this is a lot more fun to go out there and really just enjoy the moment and embrace and give it everything we had," Shuster said. "It's been a fun ride so far."
Duluthian Tyler George said the win isn't a reason for celebration just yet.
"The guys are still focused on what we gotta do moving forward, it's just another step in what we planned to accomplish all along," George said. "The key for us is gonna be tunnel vision and keep thinking about the two games we have left, and another fun one with Canada coming up."
That game will be played at 5 a.m. central time Thursday.
