UPDATE: Ramsay man charged following drive by shooting

GOGEBIC COUNTY, MI -

An Upper Peninsula man is facing five separate felony charges... after what authorities are calling a drive-by shooting in Ramsay early yesterday morning.

According to the Gogebic County Sheriff's Office, authorities were called to an area near the Keystone Bar just before 2 a.m. after a suspect allegedly fired multiple rounds from an assault rifle. 

Police later arrested Cory Leuzzo, 29, around four Sunday afternoon.

Authorities say Leuzzo fired the rifle after having a disagreement with a woman, however no one was injured. 

The suspect is currently being held on a 100-thousand dollar bond... in the Gogebic County Jail. 

Leuzzo faces charges of:

  • Threat of Terrorism
  • Discharging a firearm from a vehicle
  • Discharging a firearm at or inside a building
  • Assault with a dangerous weapon
  • Felony firearm

An Upper Peninsula man is waiting to be formally charged after an alleged shooting in Ramsay early Sunday morning.

According to the Gogebic County Sheriff's Office, authorities were called to an area near the Keystone Bar just before 2 a.m. on Sunday.

Following an investigation, Police later arrested a 29-year-old man around 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

No one was injured in the incident. 

The suspect is currently being held on a $100,000 bond in the Gogebic County Jail.
