3 dogs killed in Gary house fire overnight

DULUTH, MN -

An overnight fire in Duluth caused extensive damage to a home and killed three dogs.

The Duluth Fire Department responded to the house on 99th Avenue West just before midnight Wednesday.

When crews arrived they found the porch on fire, as well as most of the interior of the main floor.

Everyone who was home was able to evacuate.

No injuries were reported, but three dogs died in the blaze. Damage is estimated around $150,000.

The Fire Marshals office has determined the cause was accidental.
