MN gubernatorial candidates to hold forum in Duluth

Posted: Updated:

Duluthians have a chance to ask questions and get answers Friday, before weighing in on who should lead our state come November.

A handful of candidates running for Minnesota governor will be participating in a forum at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

It will include democrats Erin Murphy, Rebecca Otto, Paul Thissen, and Tim Walz, as well as republicans Nikolay Nikolayevich Bey and Phillip C Parrish, plus independent candidate Jenny Rhoades.

You can listen in from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Kirby Ballroom.

The event is free and open to anyone.

This forum does not include all candidates who are officially running for Minnesota governor.

In a news release, UMD officials did not specify how many candidates were invited.

Current Gov. Mark Dayton announced last year he would not be seeking re-election.
