A government shutdown still remains a very real possibility, despite some movement on Capitol Hill.
The Republican-controlled house passed a temporary funding bill that would keep the government open for another month Thursday night.
The approval was brought about by an 11th-hour deal that got conservatives on board, but now the Senate must approve it.
The deadline to approve it is midnight Friday.
