In order to show the rate of people turning 65 or older in Minnesota, Face Aging MN has created an interactive map to show what demographics will look like in your area.
The map will allow people to see how their county's senior population will increase from now until 2030.
Face Aging MN looks to raise awareness about the unprecedented growth in the senior population, and how it will affect everyone, including professional caregivers and lawmakers.
According to Aging MN, 60,000 Minnesotans will turn 65 every year until 2030, and they will make up 25% of the state's population.
By 2021, Face Aging MN estimates there will be about one million seniors living in Minnesota.
