(Heidi Wigdahl, KARE) -- The possibility of cold weather did not stop people from snatching up a second round of tickets for the Bold North Zip Line, that's going to be ready just in time for Super Bowl LII.
As of Wednesday, all 10,000 tickets are now sold out. The first round sold out in 72 hours, while the remaining tickets sold out just hours after they were made available online.
Starting near the Nicollet Island Inn and soaring across the river right along the Hennepin Avenue bridge, riders will fly more than 100 feet in the air and continue for 800 feet to reach the other side.
The event runs January 26-February 4.
"Thankfully, there are still tickets available for Super Bowl Experience which is the NFL's interactive theme park," said Cassie Batinich, communications representative with the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee.
Super Bowl Experience Driven by Genesis will take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center January 27-February 3. Tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under.
Batinich recommends buying your tickets ahead of time. There will be tickets available day of but only if they don't sell out in advance.
"You can do everything from run the 40 and kind of see where your time fits in with like NFL players, take your picture with the Lombardi Trophy. There will be NFL personalities walking around, NFL legends and celebrities, autograph signings," Batinich said.
Tickets are still available for many concerts, including the ones part of Club Nomadic at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel and Nomadic Live! at the Minneapolis Armory building.
But those concerts can cost hundreds of dollars.
Free concerts will be going on as part of Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. The 10-day fan festival leading up to Super Bowl LII is free and open to the public.
Batinich recommends Super Bowl LIVE for locals who want to take part in the Super Bowl experience.
Tickets are also on sale for Taste of the NFL--a star-studded fundraising event dedicated to hunger relief. The event takes place on February 3 at the Saint Paul RiverCentre.
