The Duluth school board swore in its three newest members Tuesday night.
Newly elected members Josh Gorham, Jill Lofald and Sally Trnka, along with newly re-elected member Rosie Loeffler-Kemp join David Kirby, Nora Sandstad and Alanna Oswald on the Duluth School Board.
During an Organizational meeting, the new members were seated and the Board elected officers.
David Kirby will remain chair of the Board while Rosie-Loeffler-Kemp will take on vice chair.
Nora Sandstad was elected clerk, while newest member, Josh Gorham will be the treasurer.
New member, Jill Lofald says, "I have spent forty years in education, so I know what I'm in for, and I'm looking really forward to a strong year."
The new Board will begin work right away addressing issues such as budgets and equity within the district.
